 his award-winning legendary painter is a fine artist whose career began in commercial illustration working for such clients as Spalding, General Motors, NBC, Disney, Mercedes Benz, RJR Nabisco, Warner Bros., AFL-CIO, Monsanto, and Seagram’s. Today, he is an acclaimed Western painter represented at West Lives On Gallery in Jackson Hole WY and Navarro Gallery in Sedona AZ, and others. Shows and exhibits include The Western Spirit Show and Sale at the Old West Museum in Cheyenne WY, The Mountain Oyster Club Show and Sale in Tucson AZ, the Oil Painters of American National Juried Exhibition Show and Sale, the Charles M Russell Museum MT, and the Cherokee Nation/National Archives OK. Oils, gouache, and acrylics were used in commercial assignments focused on sports, history, architecture, and landscapes. Today McCollum is available for Western fine art commissions, and unsold fine art is available for advertising applications. Digital delivery is offered. The Oklahoma-born Connecticut artist plans to relocate with his wife to a ranch in his home state in the near future.
